| Centennial Fire District maintains
three stations. While each station has its main coverage
area, personnel and equipment from other stations is often
called to assist when needed. |
| |
| Station 1 |
| Located on the corner of Lake
Drive and Fire Barn Road, Station 1 serves residents in
Circle Pines and southwestern Lino Lakes. |
 |
Utility 11
Since brush fires are common in our fire
district, Utility 11 carries the appropriate equipment
to fight this type of fire. We also use this vehicle
as a back-up for transporting firefighters and equipment
to and from large fires or involved rescues.
|
 |
Rescue 11
Used for medical and rescue calls. This
vehicle carries the necessary equipment to perform first
aid, CPR, vehicle extrication (Jaws of Life) and has
an automated defibrillator .
|
 |
Engine 11
Engine 11 transports firefighters and
firefighting equipment (hoses, nozzles, ladders, etc.)
to the scene. It holds 500 gallons of water, which provides
approximately 5 minutes of water for firefighters. The
engine's pumping equipment, when hooked to a fire hydrant,
is what provides continuous water.

 |
Polaris 6 X 6
Used for brush fires or to reach victims
when an off-road vehicle is required, this vehicle looks
fun but is for serious business. It carries a water
tank, hose and brush fire equipment.
|
| |
| Station 2 |
| Located on Lake Drive near
Highway 35, Station 2 primarily serves the Lino Lakes
community. Most recently, Station 2 added the new Target
Superstore and Kohls businesses to its coverage area. |
 |
Utility 21
This vehicle has the same purpose as Utility
11, described above.
|
 |
Rescue 21
Used for medical and rescue calls, with
equipment similar as described for Rescue 11, above.
|
 |
Tanker 21
Tanker 21 transports firefighters and
firefighting equipment (hoses, nozzles, ladders, etc.)
to the scene.
|
 |
Engine 21
Engine 21, the only ladder apparatus in
the fire district, allow us to fight fires in tall buildings,
or to attack a fire in a smaller building from above.
Engine 21 has a water cannon on the end of the ladder
which is operated remotely within the ladder cab.

| Station 3 |
